Challenging first day at the 2016 Superyacht Cup
A 22-strong fleet of sailing yachts battled it out in the Palma Bay on race day one of the 2016 Superyacht Cup. The Pantaenius race saw classes A and B separate from C and D, which were sent off on a slightly shorter course. A stable 7-11 knot breeze meant the field was challenged in every manoeuvre throughout the course, with no room for error. Sailing yachts Win Win, P2, Tempus Fugit and Marietteclaimed victory in their respective classes on day 1. Two races remain with the event drawing to a close on Saturday 25th June. The SYT team were out on the water today where they took these photos.
