Whether wine or windbreakers, sheets or shoes, ECO Crew collects it. Finally there is a charity to re-distribute all the yachts’ unwanted goods. Eco-Crew, a registered charity, founded by Sheila Goddard from Environmental Services, is based in the South of France.
The volunteer organization collects and re-distributes unwanted items such as clothing, food, drinks and household items, to needy charities along the Cote d’Azur, and as far away as Moldavia. All yachts get a receipt of their donation and are informed of where their donation went
ECO-Crew also works on local environmental projects such as improving recycling facilities in Riviera ports and working with local initiatives to repair the fragile eco system of the Cote d’Azur.
