The 30.6 metre superyacht Novela is as spacious as it is luxurious, and with generous accommodation for up to eight guests spread over four beautiful cabins - including one master, one VIP and two twins - she makes the ideal yacht for an extraordinarily captivating charter experiences.
2013 saw Novela completely redesigned and updated, undertaking an impressive refit which was supervised by yacht designer, Sasa Milosavljevic. The result is a yacht that is completely up to date with the latest technology and amenities, unrivalled comfort and sophistication and an enviable array of brand new water toys and tenders. With crystal clear waters teeming with spectacular underwater life and a coastline dotted with over 1000 unspoiled islands, where better to enjoy this newly renovated vessel than the gem of the Mediterranean, Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast.
Nestled in the glistening shores of the eastern Mediterranean, an increasing number of the yachting elite are soaking up Croatia’s captivating 2000 km coastline. Abundant in rich history, culture and natural beauty, the country is becoming progressively fashionable, marking it as one of the most popular sailing destinations in the world.
It’s not difficult to ascertain why. Sailing Croatia’s rocky coast offers her visitors an incredible variety of both popular and highly exclusive paradisiacal islands; perfect, crystal blue water, bounteous sun kissed blue skies and a handful of astonishing national parks. These breath-taking views can be enjoyed on Novela’s spacious deck area, a luxurious space usually reserved for much larger yachts. With a cocktail in hand served by one of the professional and friendly crew of four, all that’s left for you to do when cruising from island to island is to enjoy the perpetually postcard perfect view ahead.
Once at your island getaway, Novela offers a large swim platform, with easy access for swimming and a fantastic location to take advantage of the extensive array of watersports available on board. These include a 7.8 metre Brig Eagle tender with 300hp engine, a sailing dinghy, paddleboards, wakeboards, knee boards, and snorkelling equipment, to name but a few toys on board.
Try the water ski lift located between Krk Town and Punat, a 650 metre cableway for wakeboarding and waterskiing running at a speed of 32 km/h, or for a more natural setting, try one of the many national parks - many of which are UNESCO protected.
The island of Lošinj has good diving with excellent visibility and good sea life, with a fascinating shipwreck to explore dating from 1917 to explore. For diving beginners, a large and relatively shallow cave and the Margarita Reef off the island of Susak are also fantastic spots to stop and snorkel. Nearby diving centres offer fantastic courses at reasonable prices, or if watersports are off your itinerary altogether, you could enter a sanctuary for the senses at the Spa at Lesic Dimitri Palace, Korcula.
Back onboard Novela, a wonderful feature is to be found on the top deck: one big sun pad to take in all the beautiful sites in complete privacy. Staff are on hand for any of your desires, and all you need do is raise the flag for another refreshing cocktail. But the secret sun pad isn’t the only place on board to unwind after a day of exploring unspoiled islands, sunbathing, relaxing, and enjoying all Croatia has to offer. Novela provides the perfect environment to sit back and socialise, watching the sun sink into the sea. Her spacious aft deck sits up to ten people around beautifully designed coffee tables where you can relax and feel at home before a sumptuous meal is served al fresco at the large dining table. On the upper deck, the skylounge boasts a large, comfortable L shaped sofa ideal for watching movies on the hidden large screen LCD TV.
Accommodation on board ensures privacy and ample room to relax before getting ready to experience some of Croatia’s nightlife. All en-suite with entertainment facilities such as BOSE sound systems, Novela provides more than enough space and privacy to pamper yourself before experiencing some of the beautiful historic towns. One not to miss is Dubrovnik, where glistening marble floors line the entire of the Old Town. Packed with aristocratic palazzi and Baroque churches, the city is well worth a trip for its incredible seafood restaurants on the edge of the water. For the nighttime, though, try Troubadour, which offers a fantastic atmosphere and great terrace overlooking the breathtaking historic architecture of Dubrovnik. Even better, this bar is host to a variety of excellent jazz musicians most nights.
Whether you’re chartering Novela for complete relaxation and indulgence, or for an action packed adventure, Croatia has it all and better yet Novela is available for charter in Croatia from bluewater.
