Anders Kurten is due to join Baltic Yachts in September as their new chief executive officer, the company announced last week. With over 15 years of experience working in the marine industry, Kurten will leave his current position as director of a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Europe, namely Products at Inha Works Ltd. He currently oversees the manufacturing of Buster, Cross and Yamarin boats and is also chairman of Finnboat.Photo: Baltic Yachts
Set to continue to drive the strategy at Baltic Yachts, Kurten will be joined by Henry Hawkins, the new Executive Vice President. “I am delighted that Baltic Yachts and the Baltic Family will be benefiting from Anders Kurten’s extensive experience in the marine industry and his proven management skills.” Jurate Keblyte, Baltic's chief financial operating officer commented.

Baltic recently signed a new order for a Baltic 117 Custom Classic and has the Baltic 146 Custom in production. The company also reports 'excellent prospects for new orders'.
