One of the latest re-launches at the shipyard is the 66 metre super-sloop, Aglaia. The Vitters build sailing yacht is the biggest yacht ever to have been lifted clear of the water in Mallorca, and Aglaia’s captain noted the superior safety measures at STP as one of the contributing factors to assigning STP this job.

After her initial launch in September 2011, the sailing yacht moored at STP to carry out operations to improve the rigging mechanisms. Aglaia was then lifted out for completion of antifouling painting, work on her superstructure, and other servicing. The successful completion of the vessel has been celebrated with a dock party at STP in Palma, seeing the crew of Aglaia together with Complete Marine Freight raise over €29,000 for three local charities.
