CMN's latest yacht Netanya 8

Netanya 8, the first CMN 58 m/190' Motor Yacht, has been launched on Saturday, February 3rd 2007, in Cherbourg (France), under perfect conditions. The launching ceremony took place at dawn in the presence of the project manager/captain Jacques Conzales and his crew. The day of Saturday has allowed the families of the CMN employees to join the big event.

This Motor Yacht is a result of a fruitful cooperation between CMN Yacht Division and Andrew Winch Designs. She is the prototype of a new 58-60 m series.

Netanya 8 has been built according to Bureau Veritas classifications and MCA code.

With a tonnage in excess of 1’020 GT, she offers large volumes of accommodation. She features an Owner’s suite, a VIP suite with a private balcony that can be seen on portside bridge deck and five Guest cabins.

The Motor Yacht is propelled by two Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines and is fitted with two pairs of zero-speed Quantum stabilisers.

The design by Andrew Winch Designs has a range of versatile options and maximises the potential of the yard’s naval architecture. Her wide beam not only allows great internal features, but with her four active stabilisers creates a very comfortable yacht at sea.

She also has extremely comfortable Guest and Owners accommodation for an MCA compliant party of twelve. Deck spaces include an air-conditioned al-fresco glazed area on the bridge deck, a gymnasium, a Jacuzzi and sun-pads on the sundeck.

Her huge open plan sun deck can be arranged for any Owners requirement and her full beam skylounge is a truly panoramic space opening onto the aft deck. The full beam Owners cabin has large windows and an elegant walk around arrangement including large storage areas, large windows, his and her bathrooms and a private sitting room. “The best ever view of the sea is a key feature of our design”, states Andrew Winch.
