On Saturday, July 5, a new Codecasa 51 was launched from the Viareggio based shipyard. The yacht with hull number F.70 was christened Emelina. This new steel and aluminium vessel, with naval architecture by Codecasa, goes back to the traditional Codecasa lines, even if with a few distinctive details requested by the owners.
The layout of Emelina has some novelties compared with previous Codecasa builds, for example a foldable sea balcony in the owner’s suite, giving direct access to the sea.
The interior, designed by Della Role along with the U.S. owners, has been decorated in a classical Italian styled with sculptures of the Italian allegorical masks and with wall frescoes realized in the “a grottesca” technique. The materials used on board are mainly mahogany and mahogany plume for the walls and light marbles for the bathrooms.
The yacht offers ample indoor living space, given by the presence of two verandas, one aft on the main deck and one aft on the bridge deck, the latter one hosting a spacious dining area. The sun deck is the most suitable area for alfresco dining and relaxing, with a Jacuzzi and a bar area.
Emelina is build to Lloyd’s rules and complies to MCA standards. She is scheduled for delivery in August, and soon after she will cross the ocean to the Caribbean.
