"We have brought our shipping knowledge to yacht-building and created some stunning collections – under the Columbus Yachts brand. The new Columbus Oceanic 70m, which is currently under construction in Naples Shipyard, has been created in a tight collaboration with Studio Vafiadis and it will represent an additional line, a forward oriented, fresh and dynamic cutting-edge stylistic approach to propose to new clients. As in all our Columbus Yachts Line, the environmentally friendly studies had an important impact on design as well as in the project. Columbus Oceanic Series is in fact designed to have the hybrid propulsion option among many other environmentally friendly features. The sea is something we need to respect and preserve for future generations” said Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of the Group.

The Columbus Oceanic Series is a range of yachts designed in a creative partnership with Georges Vafiadis and his son Stefano Inglese Vafiadis. The new line includes a 50 metre model, a 55m, 60m, 65m, 70m and 75m versions. The 50 metre will come in two versions, as there is also a stylish Coupe’ version available.

Each model sports an eye-catching avant garde style, designed to stand the test of time. Exceptional attention to detail has been paid to the distribution of space on board, so that generous deck space is blended with voluminous accommodation throughout the range.

The first yacht in the new range to be launched, is the 70 metre. Some of her most impressive features include a huge swim platform, accessible from a main deck lobby, and she features a large open sundeck, ideal for both sunbathing, and doubling a a huge party deck. It has a Jacuzzi, sun beds, dining and lounging area, and a full bar.

Inside, the yacht will have two large salons on the main and upper deck, both framed by large windows, offering spectacular views.

Guests are accommodated in 6 cabinsm 4 of them located strategically on the main deck, plus a spectacular owner's stateroom also located forward on the main deck. The VIP suite, large enough to double as a second owner’s cabin, is located on the upper deck.

An elevator and stairs reach down to the lower deck, where there will be a dedicated guest entrance from the sea, which can double as a gym, with direct access to the water.
