Columbus Yachts has announced the sale of the first unit of its 47-metre Atlantique 47. The news comes off the back of the sale of two units of its 43-metre Atlantique series earlier this year, which are both currently under construction at the Ancona shipyard.“With the signing of this new contract, the number of new build orders nailed down by Palumbo Superyachts in the last 12 months surges to eight, confirming the complete success of the strategy embraced by the Group in recent years,” comments Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.
Hot Lab is behind the superyacht’s exterior design and has ensured that its design philosophy of creating “Architecture for Voyagers” sings through the Atlantique 47’s sleek yet strong exterior lines.
The sub-500 GT superyacht accommodates as many as 10 guests across five staterooms, comprising four lower deck doubles and a full-beam owner’s suite situated on the main deck forward. In addition to her explorer capabilities such as her range of 3,400 nautical miles while cruising at 12 knots, the Atlantique 47 is equipped with multiple standout features. She has two swimming pools, one situated aft and the second on the upper deck forward, a spacious beach club with fold out platforms to either side and a generous sun deck.
The first unit of the Atlantique 47 is due for delivery in 2023.
