Written by Charl van Rooy

One of the leading large yacht refit centres in the Mediterranean, Compositeworks, has announced this week that it has entered an agreement with the Atlantic Refit Centre in La Rochelle, France, to operate in the facility’s two dry dock spaces. Located on the French Atlantic coast, the facility comprises two dry dock areas of 107 and 176 metres respectively.

Compositeworks has affirmed its commitment to the facility with a bold plan of covering the entire 176-metre dry dock with a 35-metre high structure. The operation is expected to be completed in September 2018.

β€œWith experience of managing projects outside of our historic La Ciotat base now firmly under our belt, we strongly believe we can bring our exceptional service and technical know-how to La Rochelle, who over the past ten years have already developed an excellent reputation for superyacht conversions and paintwork,” commented Ben Mennem, CEO of Compositeworks.
