Conference in Malta combines superyachts and business aviation

Quaynote has announced two new one day back-to back-conferences, uniquely aimed at exploring opportunities in both the Business Jets and the Superyachts markets. With considerable synergies existing between the two industries, Opportunities in Business Jets and Opportunities in Superyachts will offer delegates a forum for networking, debate and business development across both. Set in Malta, an established yachting hub and now a burgeoning centre for business jet services, the conferences will attract leading speakers and senior level delegates from both industries.

Delegates may choose to attend either one or both conferences, with discounted rates offered to those registering for the two days.

Day One, Opportunities in Business Jets, on Monday 4th March, will look at Promoting a more positive image of the industry, how operators can avoid losing money on charter flights in the face of increased costs and reduced margins, tackling EU ETS or developing alternatives, and an update on tax incentives and regulatory issues.

Day Two, Opportunities in Superyachts, on Tuesday, 5th March, examines Future strategies for European builders, effective marina development strategies and choosing a winter refit destination, an overview of the Mediterranean charter season and a discussion about what the superyacht industry can learn from business aviation and vice versa.

The conferences are aimed at jet operators, corporate services providers, financiers, regulators, associations, registries, regulators, insurers, OEMs, brokers and accountants and other specialist service providers to the business jet industry, as well as superyacht managers, corporate service providers, builders, brokers, lawyers, registries, regulators, insurers, accountants and other specialist service providers to the yacht industry.
