Radical new-build 40m Conrad C-130 sailing yacht by Frank Neubelt has been sold

Award-winning designer Frank Neubelt of German Yacht Couture by Frank Neubelt Yacht Design has just announced the sale of his new 39.62-metre world-cruising sailing yacht, Conrad C-130.C-130 yacht exterior designC-130 will be built by Conrad Yachts for an experienced racing and sailing gentleman and is one of the first flybridge performance sailing yachts in the 40-metre category. She includes an indoor-outdoor saloon and has been created into a specialised style with a lightwright Alustar carbon fibre-hull and aluminium.C-130 yacht exterior designThe carbon produced deck house of the C-130 sailing yacht features an elegant flush style with full-sized glass windows. The lower deck houses a spacious owner’s area with its own aft-deck terrace entrance. The C-130 also has another three guest staterooms followed by a spacious forward placed crew area for six.C-130 yacht exterior designThe rigging and masts of the C-130 include a Code-0 gennaker with a retractable carbon-performing bow-pole. The wide-sled hull will be powered by a telescopic lifting keel-fin with bomb providing a draft of 3.8 to 6-metres.C-130 yacht exterior designThe owners of the C-130 yacht requested an individual look with a well-performing hull. The hull is supported by hybrid-powered retractable 360 degree pitch-propulsion with two high aspect-ratio span-rudders. Her engines guarantee a cruising speed of 12 knots, even with strong conditions at sea.
