Remaining guests are hosted in two VIP ensuite staterooms and two additional staterooms on the lower deck. The main deck is also home to an expansive galley and pantry for dining.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353257/image/large-c6d9785772fef7abcb8dd1bbb9ed48f7.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353257">In terms of its decor, the owner’s suite is embellished with White Emperador marble walls, ash bleached oak floors and Belvedere quartzite basins in the ensuite bathroom. A detail that differentiates the eight Moonen Martinique from previous models is the aft-facing king-size bed. “It seems like a minor detail to flip the position of the bed, yet this gives owners clear sight lines out to sea when they wake rather than looking onto the bow which impedes the view,” Hoekstra shared.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353258/image/large-df2d8f704170e872b4f0e82cd1b780ca.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353258">At the heart of the yacht’s design are three materials: wood, leather and brass, which are married to a warm mid-century colour scheme of light taupe and grey. Inside the main saloon is an antique bronze mirrored ceiling referencing 17th century Dutch architecture, while several shades of blue and a Delftware-inspired mural on the dining room wall are also a nod to the Netherlands. As Hoekstra said, “The white and blue of Dutch Delftware porcelain is iconic and instantly recognisable.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353253/image/large-1ba4908b1bfa504a6c33f8526414f5e4.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353253">We used hand sketching techniques combined with artificial intelligence to create a scene that is rich with feeling, from the lush forests and deep bodies of water that we have in Holland, to the bird in flight which could be interpreted as the project’s namesake Moonbird.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353273/image/large-969bee81fa2b100d1d41612878472758.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353273">As for the ripped upper section of the mural, Hoekstra elaborated: “We didn’t want to make it neat and square but highlight the quirkiness of Dutch design by ripping the corner off. It's been made using revolutionary software, but guests are free to imagine the rest themselves. A statement made by Jordan’s family on Thursday morning revealed that he had passed away in his Cape Town home following a cancer diagnosis in December 2024. Salvatore Canzoneri has shared the renderings and details of Kossyra, a 67-metre island-inspired superyacht concept. The up-and-coming yacht designer made it to the finals of the Young Designer of the Year 2024 awards, in partnership with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a>, with his design. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353182/image/large-cb1914a21320cc52b4ab8cc0a2f7712e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353182">Described by her designer as “a floating sanctuary that captures the essence of the Mediterranean,” Kossyra is christened after the Pantelleria, an island in Italy formerly known as Cossyra.
