Construction have commenced on Turquoise Yachts’ latest superyacht project, a 66-metre motor yacht designed by Nuvolari Lenard, the Turkish shipyard reports. The project’s steel keel has been laid and construction will now continue until the year 2019, when the yacht is expected to be delivered to her owner.

The powerful yet elegant design yields a high volume interior, much larger than on most yachts of similar length and capabilities. Shipyard CEO,Mehmet Karabeyoglu, explains it best: “A client for a 60-meter plus yacht is looking for the same uncompromising amenities as a client looking to purchase an 80-meter plus yacht.

12 guests are accommodated across six guest and an owner’s suite on board who will be looked after by 18crew members. Luxury exterior amenities include a large 6.2-metre pool on the main aft deck with an additional Jacuzzi placed on the sundeck two levels above.

Optimization is the key word,” comments Dan Lenard on the yacht’s layout. “The layout of the 66-meter flawlessly integrates the exterior styling with the interior, optimizing spaces and minimizing any conflict between functionality and the prime real estate.”
