Construction of the new 30-metre Mulder 98 Flybridge is wel underway at Mulder Shipyard’s new facilities in Zoeterwoude Rijndijk. SuperYachtTimes.com visited the yard last week.
Work is presently ongoing on the 30-metre aluminium hull of the new Mulder 98 Flybridge. The interior consists largely of American walnut, both stained and natural, and the design comprises striking contrasts in both colours and materials. For instance, there are many leather panels, while various brushed stainless steel details create a modern ambiance. The entire interior is built in house by Mulder Interior Construction, and will be ‘floating’ in order to ensure optimal sound and vibration insulation.
The yard is also working on a Mulder 94 Voyager, ordered by a Russian client. The yacht is a design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, with Vripack Naval Architects responsible for construction and naval architecture.
Construction of this project, which will be launched and and delivered under RINA Class, is underway for a spring 2014 delivery.
