In December 2014 we announced that OTAM Yachts had sold the first of its new, all-aluminum, semi-displacement product line, the OTAM SD 35. The yard has now released these exclusive images to SuperYachtTimes.com, showing the progress of the build.
The semi-displacement hull of the 295 tons yacht is almost complete, as is the main deck, and OTAM is now working on the upper superstructure.
Designed by Tommaso Spadolini, with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini, the 35 metre yacht is being built for an experienced Italian client.
Once completed, the yacht will be able to accommodate 10 guests in 5 cabins, with the Owner’s private apartment on the upper deck.
The SD 35 is designed for a top speed of 22 knots but will also have a range of 1000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The yacht will be launched just under one year from now.
