The latest progress report from the Wider facility in Ancona, Italy regarding the latest Wider 150’ superyacht has been released. The shipyard has revealed that the Lithium Polymer batteries that make up the heart of the diesel electric system have arrived and are ready to be installed on board.
With the arrival of these units, every major component of the diesel electric system is in place to complete the picture. In addition, interior cabinetry is now starting to arrive to give the superyacht a finished appearance on board.
As with all Wider yachts, the new Wider 150’ comes from drawing board of renowned designer Fulvio de Simoni. She offers a wide range of facilities and amenities for guests, as well as particularly ample living spaces. One of the main aspects in the design was to reduce fuel consumption through better propulsive efficiency, and she will boast a range of approximately 4,200 nm at 11 knots.
