Bering Yachts has announced that the first Bering 80 superyacht is currently under construction. The heavy displacement motoryacht is part of the Yachtship Series of motoryachts from the shipyard, and will bring a modern look and feel to the design whilst still upholding the seakeeping abilities of the Expedition series.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150178/image/large-408c36d7da076de44932530f9fe4e2a2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150178">The yacht allows for owner customisation of the interior layout with a semi-custom build approach. Additionally, insurance requirements have been increased, with a minimum coverage of $5 million per incident now mandated. It is produced from food industry waste and left overs and, is 100 percent renewable and traceable from well to wake. “With such a significant reduction in harmful emissions, &nbsp;it also means that engine components, such as filters and injectors, stay cleaner and require less maintenance.”“As a team, we wanted to go beyond just scratching the surface. Collaboration, dialogue, and, most importantly, action is what is required today. There is also a spa, with a sauna and a gym to aft, as well as a two-tiered beach club with folding bulwarks. Her shallow draft will make her an excellent Caribbean cruiser and she will be internationally charter compliant.
