Two Arcadia 85’s have now been sold to Northern European buyers, and are currently under construction for delivery spring 2011. Work is also under progress for three more Arcadia 85’s to be delivered over the summer of 2011. The yard is in advanced negotiation with prospective clients coming from previous experiences as owners of different types of yachts.
The design brief for the Arcadia 85 was to have a beautiful yacht, with a simple and understated styling. The design was determined by punctual functional requirements but, at the same time, impressing for innovative contents.
The result is quite stunning, and unique. The Arcadia 85’s deckhouse is constructed almost entirely out of double layered reflecting glass, creating a bright and open interior. When needed, sliding overhead pannels provide shade, and privacy.
Meanwhile, the lamination of the hull and superstructure of the first Arcadia 115’, under contract for a French owner, has been completed, and the fitting out of the interior has started. The 115 is a two deck design, with some unusual features, such as the foredeck dedicated to guests, which houses a Jacuzzi, surounded by sun pads.
The yacht's main tender is stored in a garage in the stern of the yacht, leaving the upper and aft decks open for guests.
