The 33.6-metre superyacht had her twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1408" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Caterpillar Inc (Company)">Caterpillar</a> C32 Acert engines hoisted into her engine room last week, the step before the joining of her hull and superstructure.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/200955/image/large-8684fef1f6110c2389c9a6b29d197e13.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/200955">Yesterday, this next milestone was completed when her aluminium superstructure was joined to her steel hull. Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality.
