Hodgdon Yachts are nearing the completion of a 100’ maxi yacht with one sole focus: speed. The project is one of the largest single-hull infusions ever completed in America, and is also among the largest of its type worldwide. The project features naval architecture from French designers, Van Peteghem Lauriot Prévost (VPLP) and Guillaume Verdier.
The yacht is scheduled to be launched in September, in time for the Sydney to Hobart race in December. From there, it is expected that she will enter an array of other classic major races, including the Newport-Bermuda, Fastnet, Transpac, the Middle Sea Race, the Pineapple Cup and the Caribbean 600.
