The inaugural Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR) will kick off in just two days time, marking the start of the charter season in Phuket and the surrounding areas. Hosted from 10th until 12th December, the invitation-only event will welcome Kata Rocks villa owners, superyacht owners and yachting industry professionals for a social and relaxed three days.

The KRSR is part of a series of coordinated yachting events starting with the Phuket King's Cup Regatta, from 3rd to 10th December. This year the King's Cup is followed by the inaugural KRSR from 10th to 12th December, and culminating with the Thailand Yacht Show from 15th to 18th December. The day celebrates women in the industry and is intended to promote recruitment, raise the profile of women in maritime and address the current gender imbalance in the maritime industry. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets.
