Dutch company Cramm Yachting Systems has released their latest development in deck-oriented life raft cranes. The CD9000M crane is designed to handle life rafts for up to 20 occupants, with each crane being built under Lloyd’s Register Survey and tested according to the latest IMO testing regime for Life Saving Appliances.
The crane is fully manual and gravity operated, meaning that an independent stored power source is not necessary. This enables increased flexibility of the deck layout, as the crane can be placed virtually anywhere. This is especially convenient for those areas where there is less deck space and or independent stored power cannot be accommodated in the vicinity, and offers the owner lower costs of purchase.
“The custom-made approach taken to all our products makes it possible to provide a solution where other specifications are required,” comments Paul Boelens, Sales Director at the brand. “All Cramm products are renowned for their guaranteed quality and designed to meet the highest possible standards worldwide for the superyacht industry. This newly designed deck-oriented life raft crane is no exception.”
