Jetstream, based in Monaco, have entered into strategic partnership with Crestron International. Currently targeting the yachting industry with their new service The Jetstream, the company is also now focusing on penetrating the residential market in their collaboration with Crestron International.
The Jetstream® is the first full service live TV streaming solution designed for the high‐end residential and superyacht industries. With this innovative service, customers can enjoy their favourite television services from around the world – regardless of where they may live or travel.
The Jetstream®, which was first launched at Monaco Yacht Show in September of 2009 has also been on show at METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show, Amsterdam), the Antigua Yacht Show and recently (branching out into the residential market) Integrated Systems Europe at the Crestron International stand.
The Jetstream®, nominated by ISS for Innovation of the Year Award 2009, is the most personal, mobile media solution on the market today offering remote access to your preferred media on any computer with an internet connection. Log in with your credentials and your media is at your finger‐tips with full functionality of any source you access.
The use of a dedicated global infrastructure (WAN) ensures your media sources can be accessed from anywhere at the best available quality. Major satellite providers’ uplink stations have also been identified to further improve the quality of The Jetstream® to marine customers who use VSAT technology.
Broadcast level technology (patent pending) developed and supported by Bond Technical Management brings this service to the forefront of video streaming. The Crestron ADMS will have the Jetstream service integrated in the 2nd quarter of 2010 allowing users to fully enjoy The Jetstream® service from within their unified Crestron enabled entertainment systems. By bringing the compelling features of The Jetstream® directly into Crestron systems worldwide, a new and exciting customer experience will be possible.
