Cristiano Mariani has released information regarding the 38.5 metre superyacht project, MY385_CMA. The displacement motor yacht will be built in either both steel and aluminium or exclusively in aluminium.
The boat is a streamlined ‘navetta’, conceived as a hybrid between a motor and a sailing yacht. The maximum beam is 8.20 metres, the total height of the lower deck is 2.60 meters, main deck height is 2.50 metres. The total height from the waterline, excluding the shaft, is 7.64 metres.
She will accommodate up to 10 guests in total depending on the layout, with a crew of up to 6. Accommodation will be spread over a luxurious full beam master suite located at the stern of the lower deck with direct access to a spacious terrace, and three large guests cabins. Dependent on the client’s wishes, it is also possible to have a layout with two VIP cabins and two guest cabins.
The project displays an abundance of outdoor living areas, with a sun deck conceived as a terrace on the sea, characterised by a large rooftop Jacuzzi at the bow, a huge dining table, a bar and a lounge area. The generous bow allows for a spacious garage/technical area of 32 square metres, which can accommodate a tender of 4.5 meters. Another possible option is for two jet skis in the bow area with another large tender aft on the sundeck.
The propulsion will feature the latest generation solutions, with the possibility of choosing the ecological way of hybrid motorisation. Due to the streamlined hull with the bow straight and the structural lightness - particularly in the case of an all-aluminium construction - and combined with the right engine, the yacht will have a cruising speed of 14 knots.
The choice of colors for the hull and the superstructure allows for customisation of the boat. Architect Cristiano Mariani has announced the project has already been presented to some shipyards, brokers and owners.
