37m CRN motor yacht Nordic Star sold

The 37.19-metre motor yacht Nordic Star has been sold by the online auction site, YachtBid. Working in partnership with Hans Visser of De Valk Yacht Brokers, and BVA Auctions, YachtBid successfully completed the sale making it their most expensive yacht sale to date.Nordic Star yacht cruisingBuilt in 1978 for actress Virna Lisi, Nordic Star has had a number of famous owners throughout her history, including icons such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Curtis. Nordic Star features naval and exterior design by her builder, CRN. Nordic Star yacht stateroomNordic Star underwent a refit in 2008 and again in 2012. Featuring a classic interior, she can accommodate up-to 10 guests across five spacious staterooms, including a main deck master suite which features a private games room. Nordic Star yacht dining roomSeating for 10 guests is offered in her sky lounge which comes with panoramic views, and she also has an al fresco dining area aft of the main deck for 12 people.Nordic Star ExteriorShe is powered by twin Caterpillar 3508 diesel engines, giving her the capacity to reach top speeds of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a 3000 nautical mile range.
