On Friday, September 6, 2013, YachtAid Global is celebrating the 34th annual America’s Cup races at its Cruise for a Cause fundraiser aboard Franklin D. Roosevelt’s presidential yacht—the U.S.S. Potomac which holds a rich history of memories from the Great Depression and the jazz era.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/145324/image/large-c798344b2bc9eb474bb487260109a94c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142266">Cruise for a Cause includes a cruise across the San Francisco Bay and features live music by the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra, gourmet dinner, libations, and an auction with packages including an African safari, tour of Southeast Asia and a hybrid electric bicycle. Boarding will begin promptly at 5:45pm, and the cruise will depart at 6pm and commence at 9pm. The location for boarding and disembarking will take place at San Francisco’s Ferry Building Piers at the end of Market Street in the Embarcadero.Tickets are $250 per person and are limited to the first 100 people.
