North American yacht builder Hatteras recently completed construction on the final superyacht in its 100RPH line when it delivered a custom Hatteras 100RPH yacht, Optimus. Built at the Hatteras factory in New Bern, NC, the fifth unit in this 100RPH line arrived in New York City this month on its maiden voyage.Photo: Hatteras Yachts
This particular 100RPH, the last in the 100RPH series, measures 107 feet in length with an additional 7 feet added to the stern in the form of a purpose-built fishing cockpit, signifying the brand’s strong connection to the sportfishing market. Photo: Hatteras YachtsPhoto: Hatteras Yachts
The new-generation 105RPH which replaces the 100RPH line comes with two standard layout arrangements for either eight or ten overnight guests with either a family-style galley or optional master suite forward on the main deck. The remaining four cabins are all located on the lower deck. Photo: Hatteras
In terms of power, the 105RPH comes standard with Caterpillar C-32A diesel engines with an optional performance package available. The American builder has confirmed that hull number one in this new series is already in production.
