Ocean Independence has confirmed that hull number 19 of the Navetta 33 series has found an owner. Jelena Vezia of Ocean Independence and Volga Diaugo of The Doc Yacht Services represented the buyer in the sale, who is expecting his 33-metre yacht to be delivered in May 2021. The new-build yacht is set to feature accommodation for up to 10 guests in five spacious staterooms, including a full-beam owner's stateroom on the main deck. Guests can also enjoy the fold-out terrace attached to the main saloon, the open-plan upper deck and the sundeck and its spa pool and large sunbathing area.
Due to be fitted with MAN 1400 engines (2,300 RPM), the Navetta 33 will reach 15 knots and a range of 2,000nm for cruising in the Mediterranean. A flexible joint has been placed in the transmission lines to absorb any shaft vibrations which will help reduce noise and vibration along with hydraulic fin stabilisers for added comfort. It has been a real pleasure working with Volga at The Doc Yacht Services and I am confident that together we will build the finest example of this ever-popular Custom Line displacement yacht. I am very pleased to say that from the shipyard side we are also dealing with an all-female management team which shows that the yachting industry is slowly getting more and more open and accessible to people of all genders. A very good example of exciting teamwork, and hopefully many more to come."
"For a yacht of this size, the Custom Line Navetta 33 offers the owner and his guests a lot of internal volume. The main saloon, with its fine Italian-style interiors and fold-out terrace, is my favourite spot on this yacht, together with the spacious sundeck which will be furnished with beautiful Minotti free- standings to emphasize the Italian “dolce vita” style even further," she concludes.
