Onboard the 42m Custom Line superyacht Horizon

We were first introduced to Custom Line’s flagship Navetta 42 series back in 2018 with the delivery of April (ex. Ciao). The Italian builder couldn’t have asked for a better reception as five years on April has been joined by a further eight units – soon to be 10, as two are currently in-build (one of which is being built on speculation).Horizon yacht cruising As standard the 41.79-mete Navetta 42 series is outstanding – but opt for all the upgrades like the owner of Horizon did, and the results are sublime. Horizon is the fourth unit from the series and she made her first splash in 2020. Much like her sister ships, Zuccon International Project took charge of her exterior and interior design, while Custom Line’s in-house team oversaw her engineering and naval architecture.Horizon yacht saloonWith a penchant for exploration, her commissioning owner required a superyacht that could not only cater to but enhanced the experience of round-the-world navigation. The Navetta 42 was the perfect choice for them: spacious, luxurious and able to cruise for extended periods with a range of 3,000 nautical miles. Horizon yacht cruising Custom Line offers the series with either four VIP suites or five regular staterooms; Horizon has the former. While her owner benefits from a majestic full-beam suite situated on the main deck and is complete with an office and a modern ensuite; their guests needn’t feel left out. Each of the guest rooms follows the same design brief as the master suite: rich dark woods adorn the walls, while the furnishings are modern, lending the space a comforting and modern look and feel. Her main saloon is welcoming and large enough to host all onboard guests. The space seamlessly connects with the aft deck, providing great continuity between the inside and alfresco areas. The main deck is also where guests can also find Horizon’s formal 8-person dining table. Horizon yacht aerialFood played a great role in her design, and Horizon has a larger kitchen than her sisters in the series. It was important that she was spacious enough to carry all the necessary equipment to rival even the finest restaurants in the world. With the kitchen continually awash with activities, Custom Line fitted the space with an extraction system and pressure control, keeping all smells of cooking from the rest of the yacht.Horizon yacht saloonHorizon yacht diningTo complete the culinary experience you of course need plenty of dining space – and Horizon has plenty. She has the formal dining area on the main deck and a large alfresco arrangement on the upper deck. But for those looking for a more casual experience, there are opportunities on every deck. Her skylounge is slightly smaller than her main saloon but filled with even more seating.
