No less than 29 products were highlighted as Category Winners and Special Mentions, the largest number in recent editions. The DAME Awards team at METSTRADE comment: “It is a major achievement to win the DAME Design Award in any year, but it’s particularly significant to win it in a year with so many strong entries to choose from. The Jury took it’s time to select the overall winner of DAME Design Award 2016 and decided it could not be anything else but the Torqeedo Cruise FP Models.

This system offers performance and pricing that is equitable to conventional internal combustion engine powered saildrives, making adoption of ecological auxiliary power solutions a practical proposition for a wide range of sailboats and inland craft. Visit Torqeedo and find out more about their award winning product at METSTRADE this year at stand 01.741.
