The 45.6-metre Damen Support Vessel 4508 Joy Rider has arrived at Damen's outfitting yard in Gorinchem, the Netherlands after travelling from Den Helder. Currently under construction, and with delivery expected for this summer, she is the first of the newly developed YS 4508 model from the Dutch yard. 
Photo: DamenBuilt in steel and aluminium by Damen and with naval architecture and exterior design by the shipyard, the Damen Support Vessel 4508 Joy Rider has a beam of 8.3 metres and a gross tonnage of 315. 
Photo: DamenSince introducing their range of Damen Yacht Support vessels, the yard has delivered 12 yacht support vessels up to 71.5 metres to date, in cooperation with Damen's superyacht builder, Amels.

Photo: DamenIn terms of her layout, this Damen Support Vessel 4508 offers a flexible configuration for future owners with comfortable accommodation and ample space for toys, tenders and submarines. She also features a high-performance deck crane, with the aft deck used for tenders and toys.
