Jonathan has an experienced background in the world of large motoryachts and superyachts. He holds the Australian Foreign Going Master One and has in-depth knowledge as a Captain, build overseer and project manager on a number of superyachts, including the 77m Princess Mariana and Moon Goddess, the 35m build from Danish Yacht. Vibeke is highly qualified in human resources and is ideally suited to liaise between individual projects, design and build teams.

Currently, Jonathan and Vibeke are working on a larger version of Moon Goddess, with tank testing commencing on hull forms in Gothenburg.

Jonathan said, “Both Vibeke and I are very pleased to be working on behalf of Danish Yacht, in such a strategic location for large yachts. We have been residents of Monaco for some years now and are delighted to be able to combine our knowledge and experience of the market, with the considerable expertise which is to be found in the new builds and refits which Danish Yacht undertake in Skagen. This really is a fantastic opportunity to see more special one-off projects being built, such as the J Class Ranger and the Espen Oeino’s 35m Moon Goddess, which has had such amazing reviews in the powerboat press.”

Vibeke and Jonathan spend around 10 days a month in the shipyard in Denmark, to ensure that project tenders and builds are exactly to the owners’ and designers’ requirements. As well as the day to day management from Monaco, they are there to oversee vital areas such as tank testing, interior and exterior specifications, as well as ensuring that the best possible equipment is identified and installed on these luxury yachts.
