Delivered: Nordhavn’s first custom 100 superyacht named Serenity

Nordhavn Yachts has announced the delivery of its first custom Nordhavn 100 superyacht. Named Serenity, the 30.5-metre superyacht was built by Pacific Asian Enterprises and presented to her new owners last week. Serenity’s delivery comes after her launch in Ensenada in April earlier this year and she is currently in the middle of a shakedown cruise throughout Mexico.  Nordhavn Serenity N100Photo: Nordhavn YachtsHaving started out as a Nordhavn 96, the project was extended during the build in order to accommodate a sportfishing cockpit for her owner, making Serenity the first custom Nordhavn 100. She is based on the hull of the Nordhavn 86/96 and her modifications include an elongated transom and swim step that extend the boat’s overall length by just under a metre.

Her contemporary interior decor was created by Destry Designs using essential materials, such as walnut wood, stainless steel and extraordinary stonework. The overall interior consists of a neutral palette of cream, grey and brown to ensure the ‘vibrant’ artwork throughout Serenity stands out, according to Nordhavn.  Nordhavn 96 profile renderingShe is powered by a pair of 454hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel engines which ensures she has a cruising speed of nine knots, a top speed of 12 knots and a 3000 nm range.
