Delta sells superyacht project Monarch

Delta Marine, Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (Cat Financial) and Rick Obey of Marine Consulting in New York have sold superyacht Project Monarch. Construction of this 151-foot motor yacht began at Northern Marine in Anacortes and was completed at Delta’s yard in Seattle.

With exterior styling and interior design by Jonathan Quinn Barnett, this 151-foot semi-displacement motor yacht has an impressive 30’ 9” beam and offers a balance of elegance and strength, form and function, performance, range and comfort. The flared hull design has a hard chine to deflect spray and a high sheer line that captures a full beam arrangement forward of amidships. Her bulbous bow increases efficiency. Powered by twin Cat 3512 B series engines, she can reach speeds of up to 21 knots, with a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. The yacht is ABS and MCA certified, under 500 gross tons and wheelchair navigable, with extra wide doors, spacious walkways and a centrally located elevator providing convenient access to all four decks.

Monarch was offered at $ 31,900,000. She is now back at Delta for a few minor changes and additions for the new owners just in time for the summer cruising season.
