Denison Yachting & Richard Hein to offer two new and exclusive concepts

Denison Yachting has proudly announced a partnership with renowned naval architect Richard Hein, for not one, but two all-new and very exclusive concepts: a 70-metre explorer yacht and a 60-metre sport yacht. Richard HeinRichard Hein is not only known for his stellar penmanship in the studio, as he is famed for being part of the Oceanco DNA, after co-founding the company in 1987. Today, Hein spends his time in Monaco and has brought together a close-knit group of designers to drive innovation in the sector. This group is known as The A Group. His ability is tough to rival, which makes these two Denison Yachting exclusive concepts all the more exciting.

Denison and Hein’s relationship dates back to his pre-Oceanco days, as Hein worked with Frank and Gertrude Denison at Browne Marine, designing boats with their team. “Because of our history, I feel very close to the Denison family; and after meeting with Bob Denison during the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show, I sincerely wish to continue working closely with this experienced and innovative brokerage group. I’m excited to explore new design and construction opportunities together, as I did with Ken Denison 35 years ago,” commented Richard Hein.Project A590 70m yacht concept from Richard HeinThe first of the two concepts is the 70-metre explorer, dubbed Project A590. She’s intended for vast circumnavigations of the globe, and will boast an impressive 5,000+ nautical mile range to cater for this. In terms of design, the Project A590 will be fitted with storage space for all the toys and tenders an adventurer needs: helicopter, tender and submarine. She’ll be able to accommodate up to 14 guests across six staterooms, and run by 16 crew. In terms of permanence, the Project A590 is expected to be able to cruise comfortably at 12 knots, and cap out at 16 knots. Project A570 60m yacht concept from Richard HeinThe second from the bill is the smaller but just as eye-catching Project A570. This 60-metre sport yacht pays tribute to the heritage of the Bugatti marquee and has been designed to emulate the grace of the lineage of race cars, but on the sea. She’s slick, agile and flaunts an interior wrought with modernity and state-of-the-art features. The Project A570 will come equipped with a pool, gym, beach club and a full-height saloon with sliding floor-to-ceiling windows as well as a retractable roof. Project A570 60m yacht concept from Richard Hein“We chose these two designs as they are somewhat out-of-the-box and meet the current demand for size and new construction opportunities to the market,” Hein said.

These concept designs have not been assigned to a shipyard, so potential owners can choose the place for construction. Ken Denison is the point of contact for these builds.
