UK based Tony Castro Naval Architects have been working closely with Polish yacht builder Galeon to produce their new flagship, the 780 Crystal - set to premiere later this year. The striking exterior features an optional coloured hull, a glass panel over the helmsman station and a spa-tub on the flybridge – unusual on a craft of this size.
The layout follows a conventional approach, but Galeon has taken it a step further with lots of attention to detail and practical thinking such as a motorised sunscreen to provide cockpit shade and a very practical washroom cleverly packaged under the flybridge staircase.
The large saloon windows exude a sense of space and create an open-plan feel. The Saloon doors fold discretely away extending the saloon into the cockpit placing the bar accessible to all. Moving forward one is greeted with a sociable seating arrangement, then a formal dining table to port and open plan galley to starboard along with a generously equipped interior helm position.
The contemporary interior style is distinct, elegant and sophisticated whilst three different layouts options will cater to most tastes.
