Docq Concepts has send us their latest superyacht concept design, Lustroso. Inspired by the exterior of the designer’s 40-metre Blackout, this new concept provides owners with total privacy, comfort and countless entertainment possibilities.
Lustroso features lots of subtle details, such as the inward folding edges near the porthole windows, which create playful shadows that continuously change throughout the day. The yacht’s most distinctive design feature, especially in this size range, is the total separation between crew and guests. This allows guests and crew to move around the around, without ever crossing paths. It also allows the crew to be invisible, whilst delivering first class service to the guests on board.
A large spiral stairs will lead guest up towards a half rotating skylight, where you enter the largely covered sundeck which includes adjustable louvers in the roof to regulate the exact amount of sunlight desired. A large Jacuzzi, bar and lounge area compliment the sundeck. The bridge deck is largely reserved for the owner’s use, and features a 40 square meter private aft deck, accessible only from the Owners suite. The suite itself features a king-size rotating bed, library, walk-in closet, an airy bathroom, and even a fireplace.
On the main deck, the main features freestanding furniture, that can easily be rearranged together with the 63 square meter aft deck to create an enormous party deck. In the dining area sliding doors open up to extendable balconies on both sides. Forward of the main deck are two spacious VIP cabins. The lower deck features two additional guest cabins.
The lowerdeck Lazerette can be transformed into a luxurious beach club with an large unfolding bathing platform on starboard side.
