Dominator Yachts presented its upcoming 42-metre Ilumen Tri-deck, which is currently under construction, at the occasion of the company’s 20-year anniversary party. More specifically, the shipyard presented motor yacht Peppermint, which features in-house naval architecture, exterior design by Dominator Shipyard and interior designs by Luca Catino. The Ilumen Trideck will be available as a semi-displacement or displacement hull. Thanks to the owner’s passion for world travel, each deck on board Peppermint is inspired by a different continent. As such, the flybridge has a Middle Eastern theme, which includes a hookah lounge as well as a traditional bar and subdued colours. Meanwhile, the upper deck was influenced by Asia, with lifestyle and detox being the focus. The upper deck includes a yoga studio, workout room, smoothie bar and benefits from expansive windows. The aft cockpit, main saloon and galley are designed in a European motif, showcasing contemporary Milanese art.The owner’s suite boasts large glass walls and windows, contemporary decor and an office, all emulating a loft-style Manhattan penthouse. The owner’s suite includes a fully integrated glass shower which is located next to the owner’s bed. In total, the Dominator yacht Peppermint will be able to sleep up to 12 guests across its six staterooms, and seven crew can also sleep on board.
On top of all of these interior marvels, this yacht built to charter features a touch-and-go helipad on the bow.The Ilumen 42m Trideck has a transatlantic range, with the semi-displacement version of the yacht capable of covering 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.
