Following its assessment of activity at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, Dwight Tracy & Friends Yacht Sales announced expansion of its program for representing new construction shipyards, both in the U.S. and Europe.

According to New Build and Refit Program director Phil Friedman, the latest DT&F initiative is an omnibus menu of value-added services that includes initial concept development to project planning, build team coordination, project management, owner representation, and ancillary support in the areas of finance and insurance. Noted designers, naval architects and engineers, shipyards, and ancillary service providers have strategically associated with the new DT&F program in a commitment to providing what Friedman calls “rapid-response” service — the ability to breathe creativity and practical reality into a developing project within days and weeks, as opposed to the months and years often experienced in such endeavors.
Friedman’s background in yacht design, construction, project development and marine business management spans some 30 years in the yachting industry. His recently published eBook, Ten Golden Rules for Successful New Build Projects, has received high praise from noted industry professionals.
