Four Dutch companies have signed a Letter of Intent to increase further cooperation in the field of design manufacturing and refurbishment of business jet interiors. JetSupport, Struik & Hamerslag Aviation, Wetzels Brown Partners and Zijlstra International Decoration have recognized the synergies between the superyacht and business aviation industry at an early stage and used several practical opportunities to further optimize their collaboration.
Today all four companies signed a Letter of Intent to formalize the partnership. "This moment formalizes the partnership between the four companies to further enhance the found synergies and look at future opportunities". says Marco Struik, director of Struik & Hamerslag Aviation.
Struik & Hamerslag Aviation, Wetzels Brown Partners and Zijlstra Interior Decoration are the yardstick in the global superyacht interior and refurbishment industry. With their international customer basis, their products are found all over the world in the most luxurious yachts. JetSupport provides the connection to the business aviation industry with their technical expertise for business aviation owners and operators. ‘Partnerships as these found a basis for sharing know-how and experiences across industries, crucial to further strengthen each other’s market position’ according to Ton van Deursen, director of JetSupport.
The first visible result of this collaboration is the development of a new interior refurbishment process. The new technology, to be launched early 2014, entails an advanced method of applying veneer to the aircraft interior, minimizing downtime and costs without nullifying the high qualities of the materials used in the interior. The craftsmanship of Struik & Hamerslag Aviation was found to be a perfect match for these advanced technology requirements found in the business aviation industry. This new technology is currently undergoing certification and patent processes in order to secure compliance with international aviation regulations.
