TEFAF Maastricht, the world's most prestigious art and antiques fair, opened on Friday 14th March to record interest and strong sales in all sections. This followed on from the most successful Private View in the Fair's history, which alone attracted over 10,000 private and institutional collectors from around the world, eager to find new treasures to add to their collections.
For the first time, the HISWA Holland Yachting Group is also exhibiting at the art fair. The Netherlands has an outstanding reputation for a long history of building yachts. The HISWA Holland Yachting Group fosters international trade by strengthening the role of a carefully selected group of companies located in the Netherlands. Participation at TEFAF Maastricht positions The Netherlands and the Dutch superyacht industry as one brand under the new umbrella, Think Yachts, Think Holland.
The following shipyards are taking part in at the TEFAF: Amels Holland, Feadship, Oceanco, Royal Huisman and Vitters Shipyard.
A rare 17th century “Spiegel Yacht” from the Scheepvaartmuseum will be on display too. TEFAF Maastricht runs until Sunday 23 March in MECC, Maastricht.
