Monaco-based superyacht brand Dynamiq has released the first details of its largest GTT offering to the market to date in the form of a new 50-metre fast-cruising motor yacht that continues the company’s signature sleek and sporty Dobroserdov Design in an efficient and well laid-out package.
For this project, of which construction is expected to start towards the end of the year for a possible summer 2021 delivery, Dynamiq partnered with Dutch naval architecture firm Van Oossanen to create a slender hull shape with long waterline length to promote speed, efficiency and stability at sea. Fitted with twin MTU V8 engines, the yacht will be able to cross the Atlantic at a cruising speed of 17 knots. Dynamiq also speaks of a GTS version with a more powerful power plant to deliver a 25-knot top speed.
In addition, Van Oossanen and Naiad Dynamics worked together to create the smoothest ride possible by implementing two underwater foils. The aft Hull Vane foil by Van Ossanen dampens uncomfortable motions and decreasing drag while a smaller T-shaped foil developed in association with Naiad that lifts the hull up as speed increases to further decrease resistance through the water.
“Price and performance are the key factors here,” says Sergei Dobroserdov, founder and CEO of Dynamiq. “The GTT 165 is aimed at today’s active owners who spend most of their time on deck in the open air and want to experience different destinations, or cross the Atlantic quickly and enjoy endless summers in the Med and Caribbean on a more manageable and economical size of yacht.”
Inside, the GTT 165 comes with a five and six-cabin layout that will accommodate 12 guests. Some of the features guests have to look forward too includes a glass-covered beach club that houses a spa area which can be converted into a gym area and a 20-metre-long sundeck for hosting large groups of guests that features a special raised lounge area forward to enjoy uninterrupted views from.
Dynamiq has put the base price of the GTT 165 at €24,400,000 and clients can customise their own project through the online configurator.
