First Arksen 85 explorer yacht Project Ocean sold

Arksen has announced the sale of the 26.22-metre yacht Project Ocean, the builder’s first unit of its Arksen 85 explorer model. Currently in build, Project Ocean is expected to be delivered in Spring 2022. The Arksen 85 sports a hybrid propulsion system, and the vessel’s design features recycled aluminium that can eventually be used again. Her interiors follow the same sustainable theme, using fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles. Her owner is planning a journey starting in the fjords of Norway followed by the Mediterranean, Caribbean, US and Canada, and eventually to the Northwest Passage and Southern Hemisphere, down to Patagonia and Antarctica.Arksen 85 in build at Wight ShipyardPhoto: ArksenDesign Unlimited has created a custom interior that emphasizes uninterrupted access to the yacht’s external surroundings with the use of nearly panoramic windows in the main saloon and bridge deck.
