Egg and Dart and ISA team up on 58 metre Ranger concept

Egg and Dart, the German yacht design firm, has recently teamed up with the ISA yard in Ancona, to market the 58 metre Ranger project, developed for clients who are keen on independent, worldwide exploring.

An observation deck and whale watching stations are just two examples of what the Ranger 58 has on offer to clients wishing to explore the world in total comfort. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516B engines, the yacht will have a range of 6000 nm at 14 knots. She will cruise under Lloyds Register +100 AI SSC LMC UMS MCA classicfication, with 12 guests and a crew of 16.

Egg and Dart and ISA are fully aware of the growing requirement for all means of transport to be more eco-friendly, to this effect, the project team have been in consultations with the leading manufacturers of both main and auxiliary marine propulsion units to enable them to offer an eco-friendly technical specification to a potential client. In addition, every effort is made to ensure that the materials used for the interior finishes are from sustainable sources.
