Sanlorenzo have launched the eighth unit of the 500Exp model from their shipyard in La Spezia, Italy. A ninth unit of the popular 47-metre superyacht has also been sold.As her name suggests, the superyacht 500Exp has a sub-500 GT interior volume as well as explorer capabilities. In addition to her explorer-like aesthetic, designed by Francesco Paszkowski, she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
She features naval architecture from her builder, Sanlorenzo, with her interior design coming from the drawing boards of Italian-designer Francesco Paszkowski. Her interior is finished with materials such as precious woods, crystals, marble, leather and elegant fabrics. The superyacht can accommodate as many as 10 guests across five staterooms.
In complement to her explorer capabilities, the 500Exp can accommodate a tender or sailboat of up to 9-metres to the yacht’s stern. With flexible design options, a seaplane or submarine can also be accommodated, depending on the wishes of her owner. Additionally, a touch-and-go landing platform for a helicopter can be incorporated into her design.
One of the model’s standout features is a spacious beach club to her stern. The beach club can be opened with a hatch, which can also be converted into an additional garage for tender and toy storage.
