It is with great pleasure that The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals announces that Elizabeth Sharo has joined the Luxury Yacht Vacation Division as the Charter Assistant.
Elizabeth comes to The Sacks Group with over eight years of experience in assisting professionals and clients in a variety of industries. She is a native Floridian who is very familiar with the various wonders of this tropical paradise. She loves the beach, the ocean and most things nautical. She has traveled around the country from New York to California and to many of the Caribbean Islands.
Tamea Graham, Director of Operations for The Sacks Group voiced her enthusiasm by saying "Elizabeth is the perfect fit for this position! She has background in both the hospitality and yachting industries and her administrative skills are top-notch. She brings a level of expertise that will enable the Chartering Division to continue their success."
Elizabeth's career began at the Wyndham Resort and Spa as a Concierge where she learned she had a flair for helping people experience pleasurable vacations in South Florida. She then went on to provide analytical and logistical support for the Executive Vice President and CEO of ACS, a credit card company located in Boca Raton, where she was the Executive Administrative Assistant for over five years. Elizabeth ultimately wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to enjoy more of the beauty that Florida has to offer, so she became a Sales Assistant at Hal Jones & Co. in the Lauderdale Marina. While there, she found a predisposition for yachting and the marine industry in general. In addition to her daily duties, Elizabeth assisted with marketing and managed many successful projects.
In her spare time she enjoys doing volunteer work for charitable organizations such as the March of Dimes. She also loves traveling, boating, skiing and spending quality time with her friends and family.
