Engel & Völkers Yachting closed one of the highest yachting transactions worldwide in April. Inigo Nicholson, Licence Partner of E&V Yachting Madrid, sold a 72 metre long, newly built superyacht to a businessman from Latin America. The asking price was 58 million Euros. In addition, E&V Yachting has now been commissioned to sell this buyer’s previous yacht on their behalf.
The Clarena II is the largest vessel to be built at the Italian boatyard CRN Ancona to date, as well as being one of the largest yachts ever to have been constructed in the whole of Italy. She is due for delivery to her new owner in July 2010, having been fitted and furnished throughout in accordance with their individual wishes and specifications.
The superyacht comprises a master cabin and four guest cabins, each featuring their own en suite bathroom, as well as eleven crew cabins. The spacious sundeck and dining area can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests. At her widest point, the Clarena II measures some 13.5 metres. She has a maximum speed of 15.5 knots.
