Eager to breathe new life into the industry, Yachting Ventures is on a mission to help aspiring entrepreneurs navigate into the world of yachting. Founder and managing director of SuperYacht Times, Merijn de Waard, will again be acting as a mentor for the upcoming 2021 programme that has space available for 20 mentees. If you would like to apply for mentorship, there are just three weeks left to sign up. The startup accelerator supports entrepreneurs through a fixed-term programme that includes mentorship, connections and educational content. It is an immersive experience, aiming to accelerate the growth of early-stage ventures by compressing years’ worth of learning into just a few months.
The mentorships are completely remote and the course is designed to fit around other commitments. All the sessions are recorded and content is accessible online, so founders can work at their own pace - wherever they are in the world.
Companies that were mentored in the previous cohort include Crewdentials, who have just secured their first investor, Workrest, who have secured a pilot project with Shell and Inmarsat as well as Seasy who are currently in the fundraising process.
