In 2010, work on the three yachts currently under construction at the Eurocraft shipyards will be brought to completion. In addition to a 30-metre planing-hull, flying-bridge composite yacht to be delivered in May 2009 and a 42-metre made of lightweight alloy for summer 2010, the Vado Ligure-based shipyard is now working on two 44-metre Explorer yachts with full-displacement steel hulls and lightweight alloy superstructures. The design developed by the shipyard's technical department is aimed at offering top-flight performance in terms of comfort, seaworthiness, and long-range autonomy. The extremely roomy interiors let you sail in total luxury and comfort, with a living room that spans the entire width (8.20 meters) and five cabins, including an owner’s cabin on the main deck and a VIP cabin. Moreover, the upper deck has a spa with a sauna and steam bath. Keen attention has also been devoted to the needs of the crew: five cabins, four of them with double berths, as well as one for the captain, to sleep up to a total of nine people. Eurocraft can fulfill the wishes of even the most demanding ship owner: full freedom to enjoy the sea and undertake challenging voyages with total safety and peace of mind. Large storage spaces and high-capacity tanks ensure long-range autonomy, to go without docking for weeks on end. In Zero Mode or also known as Silent Mode, M80 would operate fully on electric propulsion, delivering vibration-free navigation with zero local emissions for up to eight hours, which would enable access to environmentally protected areas.In Eco-Hybrid Mode, diesel generators operate at optimal efficiency while electric motors provide propulsion, reducing fuel consumption by an estimated 25 to 30 percent.
